VEDANGA - The Vedangas are tools developed around the 6th century BCE, to help interpret and understand the Vedas.
VEDA - The Vedas are ancient religious texts originating in India around the 2nd Millenium BCE. In Sanskrit, "Veda" means knowledge, wisdom. Because the language of the Vedas - composed many centuries earlier - became too archaic to the people, the Vedangas helped to comprehend them better.

Co-Founder of VEDANGA, Jacob holds a graduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan U.S.A.
His work experience extends for over 50 years of international sales and marketing for leading Israeli companies among them:
Tadiran (currently ELBIT) Military Communication Equipment and Tadiran batteries (currently SAFT) manufacturer of Lithium batteries.
Following his work at Tadiran, Jacob was the General Manager of Microelectronics a leading manufacturer of RF and microwave components. During this time, Jacob has established special commercial ties with leading manufacturers of RF and microwave components in U.S., Europe and the former East European countries.
Jacob’s close contacts with these defense equipment manufacturers have enabled him to source components and systems required by the defense industry.
Michelle GOLANY
Co-Founder of VEDANGA, Michelle enlists over 25 years of experience in the government, retail and wholesale sectors.
Since 2009 she is the owner and general manager of Botani Nursery, Israel's leading wholesale tree nursery. Among the largest nurseries in Israel, Botani Nursery provides horticulture knowledge and expertise to municipalities, city planners, large-scale urban and military projects and landscape architects.
Michelle holds an M.A in Business & Marketing from Webster University, Geneva, Switzerland and a B.A in International Relations from The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.
